I’m excited to announce the next release from Big Head Productions, TALES FROM THE HEARTLAND: LOCKDOWN AND BEYOND.
TALES started as a web comic during the pandemic. Like all of us during lockdown, the cabin fever was definitely real. Putting out a web comic was my way to keep occupied. I mean, I could only play ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS for so long.
LOCKDOWN AND BEYOND is the first collection for the comic, and the first time for it in print. As an added bonus for this release new material has been created, exclusive to this release.
The inspiration for the new content was CALVIN AND HOBBES. I remember growing up fondly, like so many people, with Bill Watterson’s wonderful comic. And with each new collection I remember that he would always put together new work for each release, and I wanted to do the same here.
Expect the release for TALES FROM THE HEARTLAND: LOCKDOWN AND BEYOND this Fall/Winter. Definitely will release more details as they firm up.
